Central Cervecera is a company interested in the interaction between people and this is achieved thanks to its products. For this reason Central Cervecera had the interest to exalt their work by giving a complete turn to the design of their offices. The design is inspired by the union of people which is raised by creating the heart of the project. That is to say the petaco which allows the structuring of the project organizing around the other uses that were requested, this is in charge of generating meeting and collaboration spaces for people who stay and visit the office.
The concept ”petaco, modules that unite us” becomes stronger with the spatial characterization that is achieved thanks to the materiality, initially thinking of an industrial pub type space taking advantage of the existing structure of the building (beams and joists) which communicate directly with the concept of the office and the look we wanted to achieve. The challenges of the project were initially the reuse of most of the furniture which communicated directly with the new one, as well as the reuse of elements such as glass partitions and doors, which was a challenge when it came to reorganize them with the new design. Similarly, the reuse of technical equipment was also a major challenge when it came to design, since not moving most of the technical design we had to work together to achieve an organized design. Times were reduced, but even so, good results were achieved.
