HubSpot is located in the Sequoya building, which is a business tower in Bogotá. It is composed of 3 architectural floors spread over 3,000 m2. The 3rd floor is composed of a cafeteria, a gaming area, an open office, and multiple meeting rooms. The 4th floor is for an office with different work typologies, meeting rooms, and breakout areas. The 5th floor is for an open office, a cafeteria area, and training rooms.
The concept chosen for this project is called “Páramo” because Colombia has 80% of the world’s páramos, so the idea was to give this office a very distinctive identity inspired by the place in the world where it is located. Let’s start a journey in the paramo at 16,400 feet above sea level where water comes directly from the clouds and touches the grass to create lakes, each space in the office builds the same story, but each story is created in different landscapes, everything looks different but is connected by the same core.
The main purpose of the project and the greatest challenge was to reinterpret a moor and its elements in the real world, incorporating innovative design methodologies and the latest technological proposals in a work environment, achieving the goal of providing the user with a variety of unique scenarios that invite contemplation, collaborative work and recreation, but at the same time allow the experience to travel through one of the most iconic ecosystems in Colombia.
