The NTT DATA CDMX office is located on the 24th floor of the Torre Reforma Latino building, located on Paseo de la Reforma Avenue. It has an area of 900m2. The office was occupied by the same company, so it was partially renovated, leaving some areas of the plant outside the intervention, which are mainly offices and private spaces, in addition to the cafeteria. For this project, the “Global Cell” concept is defined based on the company’s functions in terms of technology and the synapse of the cells to communicate with each other. The company has an adaptation manual with specific uses, rooms, furniture and finishes, which was received in the middle of the preliminary project stage.
With these bases, specific spaces were defined as “Cells” which are adjacent to each of the entrances to the space, and then connected by means of circulations marked with a different materiality, which in turn are surrounded by the work spaces distributed in open offices in bench stations and 120 tables for 3 seats. In addition, closed spaces such as meeting rooms, focus rooms, among others, are distributed adjacent to the core.
According to the manual, corporate finishes were used, such as blue, gray and white colors and wood. In addition, finishes with a Mexican touch are proposed to attract people to the office by evoking the culture of the place.
