This confidential client is a global communications agency, they are creative clients and in constant search of new trends. The offices are located in Bogota, in the Torre Cabrera building, 6th floor. They want innovative spaces where the gap of a “traditional office” is broken. The concept we implemented is GLO-CAL, a global palette with a local touch, where it does not lose its essence in terms of colors or identity, but makes an immersion in the urban and artistic environment that we fear locally.
The project is located in Bogota, Cabrera tower, the spatial distribution is fragmented into two categories, the first is the concentration spaces, using work trains with itinerant workstations, accompanied by 4 Booths, 3 Phone booths, a closed office/cowork, collaborative work spaces and 2 informal media scape. Throughout the project there are 3 meeting rooms and two training rooms that are multifunctional and remain as one large integrated room. The second are the social and recreational areas, where there are spaces that adapt to the moment, from training, town hall or simply with lounge furniture for leisure time, these spaces are made up of the chill zone, recording room, bar and cafeteria.
The corporate color palette is composed of a gradient from dark blue to cyan, passing through two intermediate shades, the materials with which we accompany this palette characterize the project with an industrial look and a little rough, we use concrete, metal mesh, tensors, wood. Throughout the project there is also existing vegetation and a linear light fixture that runs through the project and decomposes, becoming organic and generating that the social spaces have a different composition than the rest of the project.
The challenge of this project from the beginning has been to balance the concept so that there is a balance of materiality, color palette, furniture arrangement without going to extremes.
