The Vivo – Postobón Project is located in the city of Medellín on level 3 of the Plazoleta Junín, close to the Coltejer building. The Project consists of 4,700 m2 divided into 3 stages; the purpose of which is to rehabilitate and repower the space, which has as its design concept the transmutation of the essence of the city, which is reflected in the design of the Project. This takes as its main axis the cultural and architectural essence of Medellín, with which it seeks to revitalize what were once the Cinecolombia auditoriums, adapting them for the integral use of commercial spaces, meeting spaces, auditoriums and spaces complementary to these. Due to this, the following strategies were applied:
- The design strategy implemented in the project consists of rehabilitating the main Auditorium (Local 304) and reconfiguring the rest of the spaces, so that each one allows the spaces to meet the needs expressed by the client, which is identified with meeting areas, coworking, commercial premises and an auditorium
- The color palette expresses a series of warm colors that manage to conceptualize the architecture of the city, which is expressed with a series of cold colors representing the vegetation that can be seen so much in Medellín, which allows both to complement each other and manage to create harmony in the space through the representation of said colors
- The distribution of the place allows to condition the colors used, according to the use that is given to the space, using cold tones in the most transited spaces and the most private ones, warm to make the space feel more welcoming
